SIT30816 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Commencing with Certificate III much of this cookery course in the first term is undertaken in our restaurant – Quinlans on 25 High Street, Fremantle, Mt Hawthorn or Mandurah.

The training will be not only with our chef trainers but also with Professional chefs in the kitchens of our industry partners such as Hilton Hotel, Novotel Hotel, Hyatt Hotel, Atrium Hotel Mandurah, The Westin Perth, Mercure, Melbourne Hotel or The Clipper Hotel.

Eligibility: International students and Domestic students
English requirement: Higher Intermediate or equivalent
Academic requirement: Completion of year 10 or equivalent
Duration: 1 year (52 weeks) divide into 4 terms
Study: Full-time study with minimum 20 hours per week
Toolkit and uniform: Students are required to purchase a chef’s uniform and a cookery kit
Course pathway: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

Industry Placement: This course include mandatory industry placement.
